Classic Woofer Excursion! - Rockford Fosgate HX2 10 beatin' in the Tercel

I tossed a few classic amps i had laying around up on the test bench today just to make sure they still work. This amp, the Rockford Fosgate BD1500 was a dream come true to me at one point in my life and after playing with it today, i see why i loved it so much. This thing is a BEAST, even by todays standards. Even the classic Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2 10" woofer was gettin' busy in the trunk. This thing sounded clean and very accurate, hitting the lows with ease. Its always fun hooking up old equipment so i will do more of these soon! I got my eye on that Soundstream Class A 5.0 just begging to be hooked up!

I know its probably been asked a million times but any chance of the spec of the box you were using ??

@stertheder okay, but because its flared doesnt mean you wont get port noise but it sure does reduce port noise

@mighty754 if you have a 500W amp and a 750W subwoofer and blast the amp, the amp will eventually wear out, so i would suggest going with a bigger size amp, not to big and be careful when turning up yoour volume, just set your gains

i got a question i have a bd1500 like that one but would really like to know what are the biggest subs in wattage i can put on it without gettin a upgraded alt or blowing the amp i got a 2004 taurus.., im puttin a battery in the trunk what sugestion do you have on the subs and size of batt .i have this amp for 8yrs and never really put anything big on it and i cant think of a better person to ask this question.
