On July 7, three families of children with special health care needs met with senior officials at the White House to talk about the importance of Medicaid in their lives. The meeting was arranged by Family Voices, a national nonprofit that champions the rights of children with special health care needs. I interviewed the families over the phone (hence the variable sound quality) and put together this video where they describe the meeting with Kareem Dale, Special Assistant to the President on Disability Policy; his Staff Assistant, Sara Feuerstein; Jon Carson, Director of the Office of Public Engagement; and Nancy-Ann DeParle, White House Deputy Chief of Staff.
