  • @mobileradiofitter ok thanks and to answer my own question about app audio from iPhone, it's possible but only with the Mki 9100 and Mki 9200 models and only with the latest firmware as of the posting of this message which is v. 1.95.

  • @mobileradiofitter Thanks for your reply. I called up Parrot and spoke to tech support and they informed me that some of the models does support app audio on iPhone so I just wanted to confirm. You mentioned about if leaving the USB plugged in will result in music playing what about stopping the music before you get out of the car instead of unplugging the USB?

  • All the ones i've fitted up the main feedback i've had is the USB audio playback is the most used. Mainly because the USB doesn't need charging, One little flaw i've heard is that if the Ipod or Iphone or USB is left plugged in, when you get back in and power up the parrot will start playing music, so the best thing is to always unplug your device when leaving the car.

  • Yes... the Mki range come with an Ipod 30 pin dock cable, USB cable and 3.5mm audio jack. Via the audio jack it will play any audio source via 3.5mm headphone jack. None of the Mki kits will play video off USB or Ipod but music plays well.

  • @lgadwords Good question..

I'm fitting up a Mki9200 in the morning and will post my findings.
