But when my cat does it on me, he doesnt lick/slobber on me....He just looks around and squints his eyes. lol. is that the same thing as your explanation? It is a quite interesting subject for me, that is.

he is trying to suckle it...the "padding" is called kneading...they do it while drinking the mother cat's milk, to get it to come out faster...my cat used to do this and I think it was because he didn't get enough time with his mom
