From the moment I heard her singing I felt she should be supported no matter if she qualifies/wins or not and she did not win round three.

Thank heavens she won the final, though she was beaten by Andrei on Day 3. Otherwise there might have been a massive audience revolt. Can anyone ever have sung Marietta's Lied more beautifully. ?

Would love to know what Renee Fleming would think of her Marietta's Lied. I have heard many versions and only Fleming (see her performance from Moscow on youtube) and Leontyne Price would surpass.

This girl is quite special. I had a magical week at St David's Hall, Cardiff watching the full contest. My first time live despite watching the competition on BBC since 1983. Veterans assured me that the overall standard was outstanding. And she didn't win her 'heat' night! .....but not only won the Final but, for the first time, won the Audience Prize as well. May she have a wonderful career.

Absolutely stunning! What a beautiful voice, and gorgeous woman. Thank you for posting this early video of a future star. The only possible criticism would be of her slightly rigid movements that at times do not add expressive quality. Well done!!

Sorry ,I must have been mistaken because have just looked again and cannot now find a video on You Tube of her doing ballet.

What I saw could have been someone else however I'm a bit puzzled.
