Yes, My Wife is Bisexual

Why is it ok for a Bisexual women to be married but not ok for a Bisexual man to be married?
Discrimination...that's what it is!

Sorry, I guess I've thought that too. I've always assumed that if a man was sexually attracted to another man, he just figured that his wife could never satisfy that desire to be with a man, so the man would always feel deprived of that, so he would most likely end up cheating- either that or he would somehow be resentful toward his wife. If a straight man is sexually attracted to another woman, it's not going to be because his wife isn't satisfying his desire to be with a woman. Enlighten us.

@iaefblamefate Yeah, being 'bi' gets the same questions/cynicism here in Australia as well. People brush it off as just a teenage fad or something people just say they are to sound cool or whatever. I think that's pretty similar everywhere.

Also i think it depends on the bisexuals preferences which lead to which type of relationships they will get. If a bisexual is more attracted to opposite sex, then probuly more likely to be in a heterosexual relationship, if a bisexual is more attracted to same sex, then more likely to be in a homosexual relationship. I think society has this opinion that bisexual women are "more straight" and bisexual men are "more gay" So the idea of a bi guy being with a woman makes people nervous.

I'm bi and so is my girlfriend, and we're in a monogamous relationship. However, she is closeted and I am not. Girls at her work ask her that same type of thing in reference to me. I think honestly it comes down to that most people who are bisexual are invisible and don't talk openly about their sexuality, so people aren't really very educated so they fear what they don't know. It's also because so many gay men claim to be bi when they know they are just gay. That doesn't help either.

But I agree it's no different to straight people in relationships. If people are going to cheat, they will, whether theyre straight, bi or gay. There's no reason why a bi person would be any more likely to cheat... but people assume that because you're open to being attracted to both sexes that must mean you NEED to be with both sexes at the same time.. I dont know why

@itsageoffrushthing A lot of teens do say they're bi even when they're really not. I worked with a teen girl who basically forced herself to be with another girl because "guys are assholes". She said shes not sexually attracted to her.. kinda weird. But That's different to people who are genuinely bi..

All I know is people like to tell me I am gay while I clearly state I am bisexual. They like to make up MY mind, instead of me doing just that. Really annoying. Yes, I've had 1 boyfriend and I've never had a girlfriend, did not get the opportunity nor the luck. Thanks xoxo :/

THANK YOU!!!!! i never understood how people just can't understand how bisexual people are no different than straight people. a cheater is going to cheat, doesn't matter if you're bi, straight, or gay. being bi doesn't make us any different from anybody else!!! :)
