Gareth gets lost in Nairobi whilst the rest of us watch Mr. and Mrs. High School. Hello models!
Kenya Collective is a performing arts development organisation based in the UK, spearheaded by Callum Cheatle, founding artistic director of Peculius Stage. It acts as a platform in order to aid the bridging of a serious gap between inspirational Kenyan artists and like-minded organisations and individuals abroad, especially in the UK, USA and other African Nations. This venture will take the form of several international exchanges whereby various artistic forms of expression can be shared across cultures. From this, brand new, totally collaborative and hybrid theatre will be created for showcasing internationally. 2010 marks the initiation of its first major project: UKUMBI 2010. Following UKUMBI 2010, Kenya Collective aims to expand its outreach further afield in association with partner organisations.
