Eco-Friendly and Non-Toxic Baby Products

Even though I'm not a mom, I definitely appreciate Zo-li's eco-friendly and non-toxic baby products. All of their baby products are BPA-free, lead-free, phthalate-free and great looking! One of my favorites is a sippy cup with a soft straw that will go down the bottle if the baby turns the bottle to drink, it's such a smart idea.
Zo-li has also been getting several awards for their amazing line, some of them are from Parenting Media and Cool Mom Picks.
Here is a list of the things they make: baby bottles, sippy cup with straw (Zoli calls it the bot), non-slip diaper changing mat, battery operated nasal operator, gummy stick (also known as teething stick), munch/clover (munch silicone teether), silicone travel place mats, on-the-go travel formula and snack dispenser (this looks useful!) and even anti-colic replacement nipples. All colors are beautiful, light on the eye and everything is very stylish. They make it very easy to be a parent and if I ever have kids, I'll definitely look for their products.

Why are non-toxic baby products important?
Take for example a research done by the Environmental Working Group found that newborns umbilical cord blood has an average of 287 different chemicals, in which:
- 180 cause cancer in humans or animals
- 217 are toxic to the brain and nervous system
- 208 cause birth defects or abnormal development in animal tests.
A few years ago we were putting fire retardant chemicals on our pajamas, we had to go and prove that it caused more harm than good. Now we must prove that such chemicals should stay away from our furniture, linens, paint and products that we put on our bodies. So, thank goodness we have companies such as ZoLi who shares the same vision as ours and are able to produce better products! Even if you're not a parent, when you're invited to a baby shower, make sure to introduce the mom to be to safe products.
