Brian my dude. you are legit! I only threw 130 in high school but i only threw for junior and senior year. keep tearing it up.

Brian's goal this year is 175 ft. He already threw 165 in fall practice. He brother Ben's goal in the Hammer is 200. Ben red shirted last year at Illinois State University. He and Brian are now teammates at SIU-E. Check out Ben Bishop's hammer throws here on YOUTUBE. He only threw in 3 meets but went 171' 9". He is now using a 4 turn and has a lot more control. Ben is throwing the indoor weight and the Shot at Mizzou on Jan. 11. Brian is red shirting the indoor season. Thanks.

Nice pull; you do what I do— you are not using your right leg effectively to get across the ring. You can throw a lot further.

You are correct. It all clicked one night at practice in July. Brian threw 6 throws over 200. The farthest was 210.
He is now in college at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville and 245 (he's probably twice as strong) and handling the college disc very well.
