  • @tiaobala1 DUDECEPTION

  • Ok My theory is he is actually Andrew who is a patient at the mental hospital, the doctors attempted the role play in order to make him see straight and it worked but Andrew decides he would would rather die as the good man (teddy, his invented persona) than have to live on as Andrew (who he really is) in the guilt of murdering his wife and not saving his kids. it's pretty obvious by the way he willingly walks away with the doctors as if he knows what there going to do to him but he wants it.

  • @samwats yea its so obvious there is no point in even posting it....

  • @samwats i agree

  • One more thing: When they consult the patients and the women writes 'RUN' in teddy's notes she waits until she is alone with teddy!! Because the knows whats going on. She recognises Chuck!!

  • and you know why? remember at the very beginning teddy and chuck have to hand over there weapons. And now watch how unexperienced chuck is with his weapon! And he said he had 4 years experience. He lied! He acts from the very first minute. Teddy was never sick! Thats my ending :)

  • HE IS NOT SICK!

  • at 1:29 it's curtain call..with one quick look at the doctor he drops the act and surrenders to his death..

  • my theory is that when teddy/andrew has the band-aid on his head, he is halucinating or dreaming and the events never happen

  • @samwats i try to explain this to some people but they just don't agree. glad someone else does

  • @samwats yeah but don't call it "your theory" because the rest of the world calls it "understanding perfectly what the movie is all about"

  • I just watched this movie yesterday and i thought it was the ending was amazing, and few really understand the concept they want to give you, he obiously is sane he just dont wanna live with the guilt of murdering his wife and not saving his children, which is as bad as playing crazy the rest of your life. Thats why he said "what would be worse to live as a monster or die as a good man"?
