The studio pro are like $400 in australia and you can get entry-level audiophile headphones for cheaper out there than this, i'd rather Grado.
But as he says, it's a Fashion statement/Status symbol. Just like a bmw x6.
The only plus i see is that you can daisy chain your headphone to your friend's headphones.

@EatYaBabi The audio technica m50's, great overall sound and good for the genres you'll be listening to, and for around half the price of the beats.

what would you recommend? I listen to rock, metal, classic, and some hip-hop...if that helps at all. i just need something that sounds good on all genres and doesn't burn a whole through my wallet.
