No, people--its not a gay kiss---they are just playing on the joke of Dorothy dispearing back in the sand-- that's all (it does make a great gag--and this IS a comedy picture) They're 'just' pals. And the actors aren't hung up about it--they have fun, then go on with it. NIce to know that a guy doesn't have to be ultra macho--and still be comfortable in his masculinity. As these two wonderful Hollywood icons.

Not the first homosexual kiss, by far. Believe it or not, gay porn films were kind of a big underground thing in the 20s and 30s, if you want to count them. Personally, I don't think Bing and Bob should be classified as an actual kiss anyway. It's clearly just a (super!) quick peck meant entirely as a sight gag.

And that's not the only movie where Bob and Bing kiss each other. Just in fun, of course. :) I think Road to Bali is the other one.

Definitely not the first on screen gay kiss though. If you've ever seen Celluloid Closet you'd know there have been gay kisses since Hollywood first began, since before the censors decided to put a stamp on them and list them off as comedy. Still a great clip though :3
