IAAPA 2009 - InJoy (iMotion) booth w/ Street Racing Stars, Dido Kart, Power Boat GT, Top Gunner

Video from the InJoy booth at IAAPA 2009 in Las Vegas. InJoy specializes in motion based coin-op games and this is the largest showing I've seen from the outfit so far, in the US at least.

Dido Kart is a nice Mario Kart clone with great graphics but mediocre sound. The motion is pretty good - it doesn't make you feel sick and overall I enjoyed this more than Mario Kart GP (arcade)

Street Racing Stars seems to be influenced by games like NFS Carbon but they overdid the bloom lighting and there were a few points where I crashed through some barriers and instead of it resetting my car it just leaves you there (most arcade racers reset you so you stay as much in action as possible). Power Boat looks really nice but I didn't give it a try - it has more motion capability than the other games. Top Gunner is a slower paced turret game which looks all right but I also didn't give this one a try. Perhaps it's one of those games that is more fun to play than to watch.
