Intern. conference of the Pan-European union in Macedonia

The official part of the Ohrid international conference on topic " Macedonia in the EU - Contribution to European Identity" lasted 4 days, which organised the Pan-European Union of Macedonia, the Macedonian Parliament and the Foreign Ministry .
The conference aimed at providing support for Macedonia in its efforts to kick-start the negotiations for full-fledged membership to the European Union.
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski delivered special address at the conference on topic " Macedonia in EU - Contribution to European Identity".
The conference included the participation of Parliament Speaker Ljubisa Georgievski, Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki, members of the Pan-European Union of Macedonia and other countries, as well as European Parliament members, including Doris Pack (European Parliament's head of SEE delegation). Otto von Habsburg, honorary president of the International Pan-European Union, attended the event.
The conference was comprised of three panel-discussions titled " Macedonia in the EU - Candidate with Perspective", "Challenges for Europe in the 21st Century" and " Macedonia in the EU - Contribution to European Identity".
