Howcome I don't see the ELEVONIC 401 on the Car Operating Panel (COP)?

Maybe they want to make a more modern hotel, or maybe the old one wasn't safe to be in, so that's another reason for demolition.

Another nice Otis. If you get a chance you should check out the Regal Constellation hotel near the airport. It has a nice glass elevator.
