Tyler and Peter recite (very rapidly may I add) a scene from the play "Death of a Salesman" by Arthur Miller. This is the scene where Willy Lowman (played by Tyler) is pleading to Howard Wagner (Peter Nelson) for a job in town so that he can work during his later years. Howard understands that Willy is too old, and thus fires him to make room for workers of the younger generation. Willy is furious, while Howard seems to be ungrateful of the many years of hard work Willy had put into the company, many of the years when Howard's father was the boss (before he died). Willy Lowman shows his dismay and explains to Howard the true "death of a salesman."
I DO NOT OWN THIS SCRIPT OR ANY OF ARTHUR MILLER'S WORK! THIS WAS FOR A COMPETITION!!
We had just started memorizing it earlier that day and had competed. I think we came in second for the duo drama interpretation for an Forensics Tournament. I apologize that we speak quickly and sometimes softly. Also, the ending is cut off (in my opinion the best part).
Enjoy and don't hesitate to leave your honest opinion (good or bad)!!
We weren't allowed to touch each other or look at each other.
