  • Yes but the Royal Air Force operate the Typhoon therefore it wins :)

  • it kind of looks like j-10 ,jst imagine with single engine intake

  • Yeah guess it does!! not sure how they'd compare though, doubt the j-10 would have a chance!!

  • Fair enough.....but its not actually.....its a European Aircraft sold to the Pakistanis, so they really have nothing to do with it!!!

  • lol yeah...i nver meant tht it was mAde by Pakistan...pakistan too owns this thts wht i meant..

  • Fair Enough! :-)

  • yes J10 aircraft is very much similar to the euro fighter... well what can you expect from china! they even cloned already the russian fighter jets much to the dismay of russian authorities and designers.

when it comes to imitation they are number 1.

but as always the quality is questionable!

  • 2007 solenzara - rafale won vs eurofighter 8-1

    2009 ATLC - UAE - rafale won vs eurofighter 7-1 ;)

  • Typhoon is simply the best

  • @inestine007 it does not!

  • i must say that the eurofighter would be my next choice if i had my own airforce , the french rafale looks tempting but the eurofighter has better avionics and can carry more oh an super cruise , definitly the euro fighter would be on my list.

  • @Kyril2StGilles

Nope. It was a German/British project from the beginning with France only joining for about a year. They backed out after Germany and the UK refused to grant France system leadership and >50% of the production share. Also, the delta-canard design is way older than Rafale. MBB did studies back in the seventies called the TKF90 which closely resembles the later EAP / Eurofighter.

  • @trains457

Sorry but the Typhoon is born from a Franco-English collaboration in a first step. In addition, its architecture is 100% French, typical of Dassault products; thin body; very elaborate Aerodynamics; Delta wings and active duck span, etc... You have only to look at the Rafale (on its profile is even more pronounced) to see that the Typhoon is just a slight copy. Moreover, the Typhoon has won only one dogfight (with difficulty) against F15 whose conception is 30 years old!

  • Not the right sound track choice

  • @SuperWeng10 the J-10 was a copy of the LAVI project done by the IAF they will also supply china with sub systems in the future. the ef2000 and french rafale were the same aircraft until dassult pulled out due to building locations and break-ups. When the RAF did a computer sim of 4 eurofighters, tranche 3B, and a airborne radar element against 4 F-35Bs they said the EF2000s won. To quote "it was like clubbing baby seals". the only plane better is the f22A, but it should be for 2x the price.
