Want to find out how a bill REALLY becomes a law? It's not as simple as it used to be back in the Schoolhouse Rocks days. Our Congressmen have to choose between our interests and the money of major corporations...No wonder why he's still stuck on the steps to the Capitol building.

TakePart, Participant Media and Magnolia Pictures, along with GOOD Magazine, have joined together for the "Casino Jack and the United States of Money" Social Action campaign. Follow the money to takepart.com/followthemoney.

  • There were just as many people lobbying for the healthcare bill as against it: unions who forced it down our throats who then immediately received wavers so the rules would not apply to them, for example. Could have been a good infomercial for people of all political stripes if it wasn't so fundamentally dishonest.

  • This was funny the first time i saw it on the Simpson's. Not so funny here.

  • i saw this in school cause we learning about it but today we took the test

  • surprise ending: the bill was SOPA!!! D:

  • Funny how whenever some

    form of corruption is exposed

    there's always some fool who

    jumps up to defend it.

    Even on youtube!

  • healthcare bill propaganda? not at all

  • You pretty much nailed it..

  • 700 mill$ for anti health care lobbying? that is hard to believe. but then, they successfully prevented any mention of two simple common sense ideas: for-profit health care is immoral as the profit motive only causes prevention of care not improved care, and the entire health insurance 'industry' serves no useful; function other than to impede care and make it more expensive, they dont train doctors or conduct medical research, they just get in the way and siphon off profit

  • If any of your senators or representatives take bribes and deals, kick em out. Find more Ron Paul guys. Ron Paul 2012!
