I don't like movies like this one but Bless the Child was really great - catchy storyline, great acting. Kim Basinger made this movie more emotional and brilliant

What you're forgetting is God gives mankind free will. So the wars, famine, death and pestilence you describe are manmade and propogated by mankind's willing perversion and brutality towards its own species.
