Utah Senator Patricia Jones of Senate District 4 attended a town hall meeting tonight and defended her vote to kill a bill which would have allowed children to be adopted by both of their parents. I don't believe in gay rights. I believe in human rights. Screw the distinction. We're all people and we all deserve the same rights and liberties, regardless of who we are. This sort of bigotry is not only anti-gay. It's an affront to all of humanity. I am disappointed with the state of affairs in politics.
