there are similar escapes for if your opponent is controlling your head, look up ghost side control escape. this is what i needed because i didn't know what to if they didn't have your head

yeah the first thing i would do if im in side mount is hook my arm in behind his head

Why is this a "Blue Belt Side Mount"? Black belts don`t do side?

he isnt controling the head though. thats why the escape works
