Re: Missing Medic Taunt

*EDIT* So we have an answer finally after this long! This 'missing taunt' actually is the new taunt they added for the Spy/Sniper update for the Kritzcrig. When you taunt holding it, it gives you a boost of health.

This is awesome, I took the instructions given by the video I'm replying to. However I can't seem to get the medic to say "oktoberfest", but he still does do the animation though! Also side note, my medic's skin is different from mods.

Thanks for pointing this out. I'm sure people on my server will discover this one eventually!

this is real if you do the taunt he says ocktoberfest and you get 11 health

@mentlegenforever Yes, yes it is. This is the taunt animation /BEFORE/ they released that taunt. A user stumbled over it before Valve offically added it to the game.

wait that medigun used to do that taunt? weird now he just says sumthing sumthing dummcuffs. but the kritzerg does it now :P

Before the sniper/spy update, this taunt was hidden and couldn't be activated. I used an override to force the game to use that taunt and I put it on that weapon rather than the other. You can override any taunt to any weapon (even other characters) if you want to, but this affect only works if you're the server for the game. Other things you can screw with is how much metal it costs to build things, upgrade, and how many things the engie can build ie. multiple dispensers/sentries.

@Shaeam via the in-game console you can open with the ~ key if you enabled it in the options. To do it you also had to alter some resource files. This taunt is official now though as the taunt used for the Kritzkrieg
