why do they plug the modem to the router then the router to the xbox? i must be retarded. but the router and deliver a good enough signal and connection to reduce lag wirelessly right? (to a xbox 360s)

@solidenber Good catch... This is the new XBox 360, so yes, you are correct. However, since not all XBox 360s are wireless, we wanted to show it connected directly. The DGL-4500 is a great wireless router and will definitely reduce LAG... that's what it's designed explicitly to do.
