POET National TV Commercial - Hero

America was recently introduced to POET with our first national television campaign, running on cable news networks CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and CNN Headline News as well as NBC's Meet the Press.

The commercials feature symbolic employees, embodying the principles of POET. Through spoken-word poetry, they illustrate the challenges our nation faces in fulfilling our energy needs. And how POET is leading the way in answering those demands.

Thanks everyone for the comments! We don't think it's wise to send American dollars to other regions of the world - whether it's the Middle East, South America or any other area. It really has nothing to do with race; ethanol is about creating American jobs and providing energy security for the country.

Actually, you get about two times as much energy from ethanol production as you put into the process in fossil fuel.

@TheCuriosity1 If they were buying American products, you may have a point. But the reality is they are not. Like us, they're buying cheap Chinese good. And we're running a massive trade deficit. This in no way benefits our economy while building theirs.

Also, developing alternate energy is in no way protectionism. Protectionism would involve embargoes or tariffs. Energy independence is just common sense.

@isidahmed74 My guess is the stabbing had more to do with 22 Saudi Arabians who liked to fly planes into buildings in their free time than anything he heard in a commercial. That, and like you, he was probably a little nuts.

By the way, telling the Middle East to go fuck itself has nothing to do with race. It has to do with religious fanatics burning our flag and blowing shit up. They don't like us, so there's no good reason for us to like them. The less we have to do with them, the better.

It's time for oil to retire and for clean energy to come up. Just use your common sense, oil will be over one day, oil has caused wars, natural disasters, it pollutes and it is the dirtiest energy ever. Let's get green and clean, for our sons and grandsons and so on...
