Wow some people are pretty stupid...if the motor is rated at 24 volt 36 amps (just using someones numbers), then doubling the volts will also double the amps drawn, so at 48 volts, it would draw 72 amps, or 3,456 watts, assuming an 80% efficiency, that's (rounded) 2,750 watts. A 10 ah battery having 72 amps draw would be 8.33 minutes at full throttle. 30 mph for 8.33 minutes is a little over 4 miles...wow that is...well uhh short...
On a razor e300 overvolted to 36 volts, I hit a top speed of

Hey nice project ! My company is looking for Advisers/DIY people who would like to get paid for Creative Collaboration. We are looking to step up the game in the electric scooter wars. If you think you have what it takes and have the vision to improve the Electric scooter industry let me know. As for calculations and what performance you can get from these electric motors has alot to do also with the amount or weight that is up loaded on these scooters. These so called #'s need to be added up!
Hey I just got a missle FS and it looks just like that, and I want to do what you did to yours. What is the exact motor and how did you make the cooling device work? Does it use a separate battery?

24 volt, 600 watt rated Currie motor. four 12v 10ah batteries, 48v cooling fan runs off main batteries. You'll need a 48v 100amp controller. My controller manufacturer is out of business.

Modified a 24v 600w nedymium Currie scooter, with 4, 12v batteries, a 100 amp continuous rated controller, 100 amp breakers, plus, a 40 watt fuse, with an external cooling fan and heat sink. If you try it, be prepared to eat rear tires, break drive chains and blow through brake pads.
