  • you need camera movment to have camera tracking

  • @MultiRatrat it was taken in 2008 the idea of camera tracking on those days was very different... now everybody knows and had software for doing that... but you are right... the cam doesnt move here!

  • Awesome vid!

But is it still called camera tracking when the camera isn't moving? Isn't that just 3D overlay effect then?

  • @CyBearOfBearBros you are right but for these times (2007), the term "camera tracking" wasn't so popular... now everybudy knows the difference... on those days the thing was to mix 3D with real-life vids... (the 5 that you see in the end was the score we wanted but our teacher gave us 4 : (

  • really cool!

  • amazing video :)

  • I thought it was real

  • @coolymichael did you see this video? watch?v=yoVwKbBBtt8 here i use the same technology...

  • @coolymichael -> for sure. as everybody knows, In blender you could use nodes to define a transparent color. but the people in the video must be wearing "one color clothes" and you have to adjust contrast and other settings to make it look only one color...

The other option is using after effects. there you can cut out people as is done in photoshop. and replace the cut space with white. then in blender settings press "use alpha".

if you have any other idea, just feel free to write it here!

  • @pytoche thank you, i understand.. are there any other ways? because if the person is moving, u have to animate the motions of the plane the same way as the person did it
