Aww...I'm a conservative and I thought it was comical. Why the hate toward conservatives??? *laugh* Anyway, he's not mocking John Adams, the man, just making note of all the coughing. Sort of like those videos where people string all of Obama's "uhh's" together, only those are real! I do think we all need to lighten up.

Its funny how those who do not appreciate our heritage such as letterman can make comments about such great people. without Adams, washington, jefferson, franklin, we would be no where. it is people like him who will be the downfall of our nation!
