  • OMG I have this exact DVD it's one of my favorites, after the 1976 Met production of La Bohéme with Pavarotti and Renata Scotto :3

  • Bravissimo Pavarotti! Superlativo Bruscantini!!!

  • FAVOURITE production, everything and everyone!

Pavarotti is the PERFECT Nemorino, no doubt, and Bruscantini is a marvellous Dulcamara.

You'll be priceless if you upload his aria, pleeeeease, please please!

    Thanks!

  • The Angels now have both Luciano and Sesto so I am sure Heaven is a place full of laughter and music.

  • @loveluciano1 Yes, he was funny in this performance... there is a nnother video of Elixir with Battle and he was not that funny... he was, in fact, a bit serious. May be here he is in good mood!

  • Pavarotti was allowed to get away with an awful lot of wrong notes singing this role. He was probably the last of the great singers who would be able to do so.

    Coppia stupenda.

  • Luciano could play funny roles very very well because he was funny himself. And sing.... oh it worked always ideally.
