@63Hinds . Thanks for the Info on the War Lord for we have always wanted to know who this Maria was for she had Blakie Bazodee . That lady possessed " Sweetness" Galore for that Calypso says it all . I wonder how she and their daughter dealt with all that popularity all these years for this kaiso is a Gem of a Gem . It would be nice if we can see a photo of her back then for see has been remembered in song all these years and is surely a T+T icon . I wish her and daughter all the best.

Blakey's Maria was from south Trinidad She was a beautiful indian woman very dark skinned very small jointed.I have never seen her wear pants but she used to wear a lot of skirts was well dressed,she and Blakey had daughter together.
