This is a time lapse/stop motion video of Launceston's Software Freedom Day 2010 event, which also demonstrates the technologies covered in the October 2009 Launceston TasLUG meeting presentation.

Images were captured on a Canon SX10is using the open source firmware replacement CHDK and an enhanced intervalometer script called Ultra Intervalometer. Images were then renamed sequentially for use with ffmpeg using edavid's numbered renaming script. The renamed images were compiled into an mpeg video using ffmpeg at a rate of 12 frames per second. Finally, Kdenlive was used to add audio and titling.

Specific commands and more details are at the end of the video.
