I think it's the only movie that shows a real "Why we don't meet before?..."

@Buzzinko I couldn't agree more. I enjoyed it the first time, but as I found myself watching it for a second, third, 6th time, I kept on noticing tiny bits which I didn't before, and noticed how it contributes to the film as a whole. Their facial expressions and body language make this film so great, and people really have to pay attention to enjoy it as much as I do. Truly a masterpiece.

I've got to say, i am a big fan of this movie, got it on DVd and think it's wonderful. But I really don't agree tht the trailer interprets the film in a different light to what the film is actuelly like! The trailer states they are just friends trying to make it through different stages of their life together. which is really the point of the film! I personnly consider the trailer a acurate depiction of what happens in the story! :D Just my POV tho lol

murray wins the BAFTA, the Golden Globe, but not the Oscar. thats wut bugs me. kinda strange. he won those 2 and lost to Sean Penn at the Oscars, same thing for Mickey Rourke. hmmm...

this trailer makes the movie look like a typical romantic comedy, which it is definetly not. the trailer portrays the film badly.
absolutely my favorite movie ever

Lost in Translation is one of my favourite films of all time. Having said that, it is not for everyone, as its funny and endearing side can be discovered if you are on the same wavelength or if you have enough patience. It would only seem a bit slow, but this film is actually a hugely rewarding masterpiece. The acting is genuine and superb. The chemistry between Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson works so well in the unique atmosphere of this film, adding to its many good qualities.
