Electroplankton is my favorite game on the Nintendo DS. Because it helps me to relax, I play it before sleeping.

I've mixed different recorded samples of my Electroplankton playings together as a whole and taped it.

The plankton Luminaria (the ones with the arrows) is slightly in slow motion to better fit in the rest.

I think the outcome got pretty nice, but I had trouble connecting my camera to the tripod so I held it in my left hand while playing. That's why the screen is a little shaky. Too bad, but it's mainly about the music, of course. It'd be great to find out if it's possible to somehow transfer visuals directly from the DS to the pc.

Ever tried to connect huge speakers with a subwoofer to your DS while playing the plankton? The white Lumiloop plankton sounds great when you rotate them clockwise.

In case you aren't familiar with Electroplankton.. it doesn't have a goal, a message or any leveling or challenge whatsoever. You get different kinds of plankton to play with. Every plankton makes some kind of nice sound effect or music. You don't even have to create music. The plain sounds are pleasing to the ear as well, whatever you do with it. It's just a game for pure relaxation while giving your mind a rest as well.

Hope you enjoy it.

  • at 2:00, it is the brawl stage!!!!!

  • heh, yeah it's so cool they actually included this game in it (though it was a pain to play that stage). :)

  • Which cable(s) did you use to conect you DS to those speakers?

  • Connecting it to speakers is pretty simple. You only need to plug them into the DS where you also put headphones.

However, I connect my DS to the line-in of my soundcard (blue) with a line-in cable (check google images). That way you can record sound directly on your pc without losing any quality.

  • where do you get it

  • It's getting pretty difficult to find it anywhere lately. I've heard that it hardly sells. Probably because people don't see the awesomeness of the game.
