Its Infantry and Armor,Army and Marines! When you come under fire its combat.Yes you are proud of your branch of service but getting the most casualties because of a battle its not a source of pride.I lost a freind in 2005.I have cousins in the Marine Infantry and Im an Infantryman who was in Iraq in 2006 to 08.Im lucky my 2 Marine cousins fought hard in An Bar and survived without being killed or wounded.

@hardcorelifeforus000 - oh ok, cus i was told by my brother who was in the 101st airborne that the marines were the main force and the army was the supporting force, especially since the army was at the time taking ramadi

@MrUnclesam666 Marines did most of the fighting, lost most of the men and get most of the credit for the battle.. Army did do some fighting and cover though

@MrPelhambay No first time it was a small assault, few battalions of Marines and Army, we lost the city and then U.S Marines came in and were the first to actually go in and start the assault. Army was involved in the second but they came in late, they did fight in Fallujah though just not as much as the Marines did. mostly Calvary and vehicle support of course without that the operation would've been risky and deadly.

@hardcorelifeforus000 They did kick ass. But i think the Army was also involved in the second battle of Fallujah in 2004 Nov.

They conquered Fallujah in order to hold the position as long as the USMC takes to tighten up
