@randall2051 You should come over to fordfe d0t com. The search function alone is a virtual treasure trove of FE information.

@fordboy111591 460 429 same block both have 4.36 bores. strokes are 3.59 on 429 3.85 on 460 so why is 429 better than 460 when building an engine?

AWESOME!! Glad to see someone on youtube that knows how to build a Ford and not just drop a cookie cutter BBC into their rod and call it done. GOOD SHOW!! I have a 351C that'll be going into my 1969 F100 Sport Custom.
You do anything to the rear suspension? All i have done to mine so far is a streetmaster intake, 625 carter, and headers and I can't seem to hook at all even if I don't dump the clutch. I want to port the heads and add a bigger cam, but it might be pointless if it can't hook. Tires are a lot bigger than stock too.

I used to just have a few extra spring clamps holding the springs tight and it really helped. I then put a set of ladder bars on it(stock springs) and it really plants the tires.

@59Mack what ladder bar system did you go with? i want to do it to mine, but i'm not sure how.

@DJhenderlong Just your basic adjustable bars. I'm thinking of changing over to coil overs, but haven't decided yet.
