  • a b1 airstike saved my friends life, it is better than the b52 unless you drop nukes

  • The B-1B is a hell of an aircraft. "Useless", my arse. Syeager is right. It was designed for nuclear bombing at high altitude, not low-level conventional strike missions. And I think you'll find the combat vets in the Middle East who've had their skins saved by a punishing B-1B strike consider the Lancer a rather good airplane.

  • @syeager9 THANK Jimmy Carter for THAT.

  • it looks like a duck from underneath

  • Useless in sense that it never had to perform the role it was designed for. And B-52s still in service, while B-1s are slowly taken out of service one by one.

  • so useless, even though it holds 60000 pounds of ordinance and can outperform the b52
