Now imagine if the tortoise wasnt yours and this was happening at 3am in the morning during a pitch black night. That's the stuff ghost stories are made of.

That tortoise is stealing your goddamn grill, you're just going to let that slide!?
To be fair, that is the most adorable theft ever.

I have a Leopard tortoise about this size who does the same thing. She's obsessed with a wicker ottoman from Pier 1 Imports we have in the den. She gets under it and drags it around, bashing into things. She won't leave it alone- it's hers. She's a WMD.

She does the same thing; she gets under it and drags it around and bashes it into things. We call it the Trojan Ottoman. We can't keep her away from it- it's hers. The more she knocks over, the happier she is. She's a WMD.

@lillimarleennight do you honestly, honestly think he was stuck and unable to get out? he *loves* that bbq. its one of his favorite toys, he still plays with it even tho he doesn't fit anymore. i think he would be very sad if we were to take it away, he's pushed it around the patio for the last 3 years.

@calibratorzg i don't think i'd fit.he *loves* that bbq. its one of his favorite toys, so i don't think you can possibly imagine him actually being stuck or in distress if you watched any of his other videos. i think he would be very sad if we were to take it away.

I think he was looking for shell renovation

Well, you know how they advise you to grill: low and slow. :)

Obviously the poor thing was stuck under that shitty grill. Makes me sick. Let him go!
That shell doesn't look too healthy.

@Cooludeful Thank you for your comment regarding my tortoise's shell.
You are right, he has some pyramiding from his early years before we got proper information on his diet but as you can see the scutes are smoothing out nicely and he is very happy and healthy per his last vet check :)
He no longer fits under the BBQ, btw.
