  • i realy dont understand this. it is good but its confusing because i dont know what gherq means?

  • Hi.

Just saying, this is a difficult lesson so its confusing even for native speakers. An 'gherq', plural - gheruq, is the maltese word for root (as in roots of a tree). The root of a word is a group of 3 or 4 consonants upon which every form of the word is built upon. eg, words which have to do with writing all have the 3 consonants K-T-B occurring in that order, like nikteb, tikteb, ktieb, kotba, kittieb, ktibna... If you have another specific difficulty, send me a message and I will help!

  • it is an Arabic rule too , we have it in our constructions the same way exactly , and the words you have used is the same too

but with a very little different

it's exactly the same of arabic tunisian dialectt

but it is still very easy to learn for me and I think for all arabs

it's like a dialect for me , not a foreign language

  • thank you for all your lessons!!They are very useful!!

  • the Anglosaxon part behaves more or less in the same way as the Romantic part, which is why it makes more sense to classify the two sections as Semitic and non-Semitic. The Semitic part is kind of stagnant. The other is still productive.
