I am interested in making my own slip. but I need it to go to cone 6 and on to go to cone 10, is this recipe that you have one that goes to one of those temps?

They are very nice slabs with perfect edges very nice.

Also you are just pouring in dry ingredinents are you putting the ones on the list in first?

I alos don't have the high tech equipment, but have a mixer can I get away with that?

Dear Earlcus,

The recipes slip clay start from cone 5 to cone 9.

Yes i pouring dry fine ingredinents togheter, and you can use a normal mixer, the important is the time of mixing and Litre by weight.

I'm a designer from Canada and am looking for a factory to produce my line of stoneware ceramics in small batches. Was this your own studio or a factory that hires out? I would really appreciate any info or suggestions. I would prefer to find a manufacturer in North America to support local jobs & avoid harmful cross world shipping, but there are no more ceramic factories here. : ( And I would love to avoid Asia if possible... THANKS!
