@Amirichi Nah, it only takes about 30 days for the body to pick up a habit, he's in the throes of the worst of it during this time, and if he struggles through, after about 30 days your body understands the new schedule.
He seemed to doze off. I think in the long run this experiment will end up using alot more time to adapt rather than to actually use the time productively (its intended purpose of gaining you more time per day).
Maybe one would finally adapt after say 1 year, if he could make it alive...
The thing about dreams is during monophasic sleep cycles you only remember dreams from the last or last two sleep cycles.
The first few dreams you have are often best forgotten as they can be disturbing.
When I was once experimenting with lucid dreaming I was able to cause myself to remember some dreams from earlier on in the night and they were full of paranoia, people shouting at me, robots attacking me, weird fungi growing out of me and stuff!
