I can't find it on YouToob, but if anyone has a copy of Jean singing "Icarus", pleeeeze post it. Of all Jean's beautiful offerings, "Icarus" tells the most beautiful and haunting tale of love and myth. I'm sure we all remember Icarus' attempted flight to the sun, don't we?

Absolutely lovely.
I have her singing Dumbarton's drums and the Four Marys too.
But this song Annie Lawrie, when performed by the Red Army Choir and that beautiful solo tenor sends shivers up my spine.

In my opinion, this lady is one of the finest singers I've
ever heard. She really doesn't need the background
music. She has unbelievable control, pitch, and phrasing.
I have most, if not all, of her CD's, and she's always with
me on my iPod.
