Mariachi Continental de Jesus Nunez sings "Gema" at Walmart in Azusa, CA in May 2009. If you need a Mariachi in Southern California, call us @ 626.444.4811. They perform for the Pepsi Company.

  • It's called a gig people. Most musicians play for a living. They are hired by Pepsi to perform at different venues.....this one happens to be at Walmart.

I agree with you 100% "sungod916" clearly does not understand work for pay. Also a uniform does not make a charro whore!

sungod916: I must disagree with your thoughts. We must remember that many mariachis play for a living, and many do very well at that. Taste may be a choice which is to be desired, but how is this different than wearing a uniform at any other job site? Is wearing a "Charro" considered being a "whore"? since all charros get paid while wearing their uniform? just food for thought.

    Also

i highly doubt this group uses those patches as a part of their daily outfits

  • Nice to see my Mexican heritage being whored out to Wal-Mart and Pepsi. Oh well, I wonder if a German would feel the same way if a Polka band played at Wal-Mart.
