@queendamaris The african instructor at UNM id from Uganda Africa. His past generations brought African drumming and some dance to the US. He is a legacy in Africa and to become one in the US.

I agree. I know this dance. My child took it and the sister who teaches it, learned all the dances from Africians, and they also have an international dancer doing workshops, and she went to the motherland, and this was NOT on the kids level.

That sucked. My daughter 10 who knows the real dance... her group (of kids) can do the real dance 100% better and they do it from the soul. There was no clear definition of movements, it was all jumbled together. And the moves are wrong.

I am disappointed! This is crazy dancing> We have good and bad African music ... the dancers are good but the music and the screaming is just horrific. I beg make una no put dis kind thing on here again, e dey make some of us feel ashame. Seriously!

I dunno man. I just recorded it. Wikipedia it. Its a class at UNM, its taught by a real live African, so I think he knows what he's doing. (directed towards dotwhatlhl) I don't know what country he's from.
