EarthBound Zero/MOTHER Final Boss: Geigue/Gyiyg

MOTHER 1+2 Version. LOL.

This is the final showdown with Geigue (or Giygas, or Gyiyg- whatever you call him). Over the course of the journey in EB0, you had to listen to and collect the 8 melodies of Queen Maria's song. That song is the only thing tht can stop Geigue- the memories if Maria from him will weaken him. After the song is sung 11 times, Geigue will be defeated, his powers gone due to the loving memory of Maria.

Is there a difference in the NES version and the GBA version?

@SuperSenshi Yes; the run function from the prototype NES Earthbound Zero has been kept and actually made a run function rather then speeding up the game's processing, the L button is a check button like EarthBound, there are slight dialogue changes in some parts of the game, the music and sound effects more resemble the NES (Maybe just a drop in quality) and in general, all the changes made from the japanese MOTHER 1 to the NES EarthBpund Zero (graphically and whatever) are present.

@Mrnasty37 That video is probably the NES version of MOTHER 1. I recorded this with the GBA version of MOTHER 1.

why does the sound always delay when it comes to recording with the vba?

@SuperMarioAddict123 My guess is its easier for it to record sound then video, which means it would record sound faster the audio, which would cause the delay. Though theres nothing VBA emulation can screw up with VisualDub :D

@0822kitten I read one on a forum thats sounded interesting. They thought that Buzz Buzz in Earthbound was actually Ninten. Geigue/Giygas says he has the power of a lowly insect, and the starman in Earthbound says that buzz buzz defeated Giygas before
