I AM PLEASED TO REPORT THAT AS OF A FEW WEEKS AGO A TASK FORCE WAS DEPLOYED TO STOP THIS MADNESS IN IT'S TRACKS. I BELIEVE THAT IT IS THE RESULT OF THE MOVING OF THE RAMPART POLICE STATION TO 6TH STREET ABOUT THREE BLOCKS EAST OF HERE WHERE THIS VIDEO WAS SHOT. OF COURSE IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO IMAGE AND POLITICS. I AM LEAVING THIS VIDEO UP HERE AS AN OBJECT LESSON IN WHAT CAN HAPPEN OR NOT HAPPEN AS A RESULT OF POSTING THIS KIND OF VIDEO ON SITES SUCH AS THESE. I ONLY ASK THAT NO MATTER WHAT YOUR VIEWS ARE ON IMMIGRATION WE DO OUR BEST TO KEEP OUR

Mayor Antonio Villaragosa, City councilman Ed P. Reyes, Police Chief Bratton, and the Rampart police division have let illegals take over city council district 1. Westlake/McArthur Park, is just a few blocks west of downtown Los Angeles. The sidewalks are impassable. They are filled with used junk and clothes piled waist high as well as DVDs of films in current release which is a felony. They are setting fires in whatever to cook meat on the sidewalk endangering nearby buildings and causing rat infestations. There are piles of trash on the streets and in the alleys. This is also a threat to public health. The illegals are driving away legitimate businesses who cannot afford to stay open as the illegals pay no taxes or collect sales taxes. The illegal activity impedes foot traffic. Having lived here for three years and having my efforts to clean up the area fall on deaf ears, I need your help. This activity is coming to your neighborhood if we do not collectively let the responsible elected politicians and authorities know that political cowardice will not be tolerated by the voters and taxpayers. If we wanted to live in Tiajuana we would move there. After trying last weekend to photograph the goings on I was mobbed,thrown into the street by five illegals and sevevely beaten. I sustained three broken ribs, a fractured eye socket, and a fracture of my lower L2 spine. I am in fear of going outside my building. Sincerely, LR Valencia

I am Hispanic and I dont blame whites for being upset at illegals. I am shocked how illegals have brought down Los Angeles and many cities in California. Hispanic Americans should not condone illegal immigration. We should do everything possible to promote economic change in Mexico and Latin America. That is the problem.
