Guy Lombardo is not exactly house music, but in its day it was the hottest dance music around. This historical footage of San Francisco's past, just some seven months before the devastating Fire & Earthquake of 1906, shows a day in the life of busy Market Street and the variety of transportation in use at the time ranging from horses & horse drawn vehicles, trams, bicycles and the novelty of the various new automobiles winding their way down SF's great Market Street, seemingly oblivious to Market Street traffic and the impending doom ahead!

LOL @ 6:17 - 6:20. The camera operator's hand goes into the picture on the right side, he was probably shooing the little boys out of the way that kept chasing the trolley... I can just hear it... "get off the track you darn kids!"

It's amazes me how similar the Market street of a century ago is to the one of today.
