This is NOT a test :P
I'm going to be trying to do much longer and more complicated animations from now on, that means no more tests!
please comment and rate as I would love to know what you think or how I could improve. what do you think of the music as well?

  • What is the clay you use and is it avalible in australia. also what software do you use.. thx.

  • @nimbuw i use monkeyjam, just Google it, its free to download :) i use sculpey III clay, i have no idea if it is available in Australia, i buy off ebay so if they ship there than yes it is :P

  • you should make some really complex cells, like with flagella. you could make a sperm cell getting together with an egg cell, and then show the baby developing! it might take some research, but it would be an awsome thing to make. :)

  • @bonoboperson COMPLICATED!!!!!!! thanks for the idea, that's definitely one to do for later....i don't think i am good enough to do it right now though....

  • looked smooth to me. keep up the work, maybe incorporate a storyline into it rather than just object in motion. Also, I think you would benefit from a consistent light source.

  • @suupertramp Thanks for the quick response!

  • This guy is an amazing claymation artist

  • @Rashoni yeah i did some of those things :P ive done a couple more in my latest video and my next ones should show a much better improvement as im doing some other stuff as well :) thanks for the tips.

  • @suupertramp the flicker might have to do with moving around the light source, having it bounce off your clothing, or the sun outside changing position, its really hard to keep consistent with that sort of thing unless you've got a nice controlled environment, and make sure you back away to the same point every time you take a picture. It could also be the auto-light setting on your camera, so if you can, change it over to manual and manually set the contrast and brightness settings :)
