A quick and simple, and very light snack that hits the spot when you're in the mood for nothing more than just a little! Leave comments below and do subscribe, but there are many more delectable goodies to come.

RECIPE:
Mixed Berry Delight
- 250g Your choice of berries (I used raspberries, blueberries and strawberries in this one)
- 2 tbsp caster or icing sugar (miore or less depending on how sweet you would like your berry mix)
- 400g smooth, sweet, creamy yoghurt
- 100-200g muesli/oatmeal/crumbed biscuits

1. Blend chosen fruit combinations together in a blender until a sauce is created. The longer blending time results in a smooth sauce, so feel free to choose your own consistency.
2. In serving glasses, layer in order: Sauce, yoghurt, and muesli.
3. To serve, top with a few berries and sprinkle lightly with oats.

Feel free to alter the mixture by adding/replacing with your own choice of fruits and sweetness of the mixture. Normally the creaminess of the yoghurt compliments the slight sourness of the berries, but have a fiddle with it and see what you come up with!

If you want, you can add your own ingredients or you can replace mushrooms altogether! Try either a combination of or all of these delectable replacements such as spinach leaves, tomatoes, onions, capsicums and even cougettes. Experiment and make this recipe your own!

  • it is soooooo yummy and easy to make :) the good thing is you can add basicly anything you want to it :) hope you all enjoyed!

  • This seems to resemble a parfait! It looks lovely and delicious. A dessert that'd be great to make with a variety of fruit! It looks so easy to make, I tried it out. I don't really like oats with my yogurt (Maybe it's just me), but I replaced it using crushed graham crackers (not too crushed) instead and instead of regular yogurt, I had strawberry. I think next time I'll try getting vanilla, but it turned out alright in the end. And pretty! :)

  • That sounds like a very nice alternative. I may have to try that out sometime!
