AK-104 at 300yds

Many people state that the AK series of rifles and in particular the 7.62x39 cartridge are incapable of accurate fire out beyond 100 or 200yds/meters so I have decided to put this to the test.

Using an AK-104 with a 12.4 inch barrel I set up at 300yds and found that the AK is more capable than I am (albeit that's not saying much haha) the rifle shot well and is an ideal rifle for a lady or smaller shooter due to its low recoil, short length and low weight.

The short sight radius made it very quick to get on target and quick movements whilst sight alignment was not affected, likewise the short length of the rifle means it will not be affected as much by high winds.

The trigger is easy to use and although not particularly crisp it can be used with great ease once you are used to it.

Who's supposed to pick up whatever falls on the ground, wherever it falls? bullets, casings, what have you... I presume that clean-up is part of the shooting sport?

why does it have the gas tube like an ak47 if its a pull back bolt????
