Hangar 9 Miss America EXtreme Aerobatics

Before this description, just wanted to call attention to a video in the sidelist, called
"Miss America Mustang P51 Formation Cam" click on the PLUS sign to add this to the playlist, as this is one of my favourite videos. You'll want to see the awesome formation flying with two of these great aerobatic planes..

SuperDave had his Miss America out at Kamikaze last weekend, and had a couple great flights with her. I caught a few really great clips, like the KE inside the park with it, little bit of sideslip to keep the alititude barely off the deck, but awesome control and awesome flying plane.
Hope to get mine back up for some formation with him again soon. Need to replace some fuel soaked wood on the fuse, just tons of flights on her, and lots of rich exhaust going over the nose.

The Saito 100s we have in them are awesome for H9 60 size planes, and running on 30% nitro, give a great smoke show too. Thats where all the extra fuel comes from on the fuse lol

I have the same plane with a YS110FZ-S. Running 14x10 prop and Coolpower Heli 30%.

@riprocop right on, the 4 strokes run great on coolerpower 30 and the YS should really rip. We have 4 of these planes at the field now, and fly them in formation.  2 with 4 stroke saito 100, one electric 6cell and one OS60 All fly great

@6Sally5 haha...no problem. It will be great with the Miss America scheme, and the 120 will be awesome, or 125 whichever. I just picked up a new H9 one off craigs list, and passed my old one down to CD, so we'll have three of these going at some point. Will maiden mine this week hopefully.

Well it finally happened! I have been jonesing for a big Mustang ever since I saw the first Miss America vid you did with SuperDave. My bro-in-law finally gave up on building his Top Flite 1/5 scale P51. It's a kit, so lots of work to do, but he got the fus and wing finished. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do next ! It's going to have to be 4-stroke for sure...Saito 120? I'd really like to do the Miss America scheme, too. Hope SuperDave won't mind!
