A fitting tribute or a crass capitalisation? I dunno so I'll be steering clear of this track. I dunno Ariel Aparicio but seems like someone heard this song when the media covered Jim's death, and then thought, 'Wow that's a good song.' and Bobs your uncle.

I saw this on LOGO and I hate it......why did it get LGBT awards? It is so morbid. All it reminds me of is my pending doom from HIV.

@weezerz It's not at all intended that way. Jim Carroll wrote this song in the early 80's. I've always found it very powerful. I actually covered it as a tribute to the many friends I've lost over the years. I think Jim Carroll also intended it as a "tribute" to his friends. Stay well. Stay strong. Stay healthy.
